David Crowder Band

With their debut album, Can You Hear Us?, released in 2002, David Crowder Band hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped since.  In between touring for their albums, joining with Passion, Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin and Charlie Hall – among other incredible bands on tour – the band has found the time to produce their seventh release, Remedy. The album just hit the scene in 2007 and continues to accomplish the task of bridging the gap between the church and a disenchanted generation of young people.

The six members of the band masterfully combine worshipful lyrics and incredibly modern alt/rock musical styles to bring students into a place of worship that resonates with where they are in life. The quirkiness of the band and its members cannot be overlooked either.  With bluegrass stylings peeking through various songs and a heavy techno feel in another, every song from the band maintains a personality of its own. Despite differences in styles and delivery, there is a consistent authenticity to every song this group plays, ensuring worship and intimacy has a chance to thrive. There is no doubt that David Crowder Band takes worship to a whole new level and will bring your students along.
